itaas TO DEVELOP EVENT COLLECTION SYSTEM TOOL FOR TIME WARNER CABLE

ECS tool developed by itaas to be deployed nationally across all by Time Warner Cable Division

Atlanta, GA, March 8, 2004 -- itaas, inc., the premier provider of ITV services for the digital cable industry today Time Warner Cable announced today that it has partnered with itaas, inc., the premier provider of iTV services for the digital cable ITV industry, to develop and implement a system-wide Event Collection System (ECS) tool for deployment by Time Warner Cable. The Event Collection System (ECS) tool provides Time Warner Cable with a single focal point to monitor the activity across the entire Video on Demand multi-vendor, (VOD) infrastructure. It tracks system health and highlights any particular movie purchase rates, allowing headend personnel to quickly identify issues that may be out of the norm, drill down into the cause of the problem and resolve it in a timely fashion.

Higher movie buy rates are achieved, increasing on-demand revenue and enhancing customer satisfaction when the ECS tool is utilized. The tool is designed to be extensible so that as additional components from multiple vendors can be added to the VOD infrastructure they can also be monitored with minimal effort.
