Biography

Wayne Fleming is responsible for developing technology and business strategies that complement and enable the delivery of messaging Intranet, Extranet, and Groupware systems. He has extensive experience in Workflow and Business Process Automation and is an expert in messaging infrastructure implementations, migrations, design, and strategic planning. His industry expertise covers the insurance, government, education, manufacturing, and telecom industries with a special focus on CRM/Call Center, Distribution, Retail Pont of Sale, and migration applications.

Prior to joining Optimus, Mr. Fleming was managing principal, workgroup technologies, at Crescendo Technologies Group LLC, where he led a team that won the IBM Lotus Beacon Award and coined the term e-Pervasive. Earlier, Wayne was Manager of Collaborative Technologies at Whitman-Hart, an IT consulting company specializing in electronic commerce implementations. There he led the Lotus Notes implementation, migration, and administration practice, which included Enterprise Messaging Planning and Migration Implementations.

At Coca-Cola Company, Mr. Fleming managed and supported the rollout of Lotus Notes to channel partners. He was responsible for the design of a database development and deployment system that supported the effective and efficient design and rollout of databases for the enterprise. He also implemented Return on Investment (ROI) software for corporate restaurants and managed the technical support for over 2000 locations and end-users of Lotus Notes, Xcellenet, Novell, and Windows environments.

Before Coca-Cola Company, Mr. Fleming worked as the Lotus Notes Product Manager for Ryder Systems, Inc. He tested applications compatibility and served as a technical consultant for workstation application and workflow issues.
