Michael Centrella, principal Biography Michael Centrella is the principal of Momentum Technology Partners (MTP), a company providing business, technology and investment consulting services to emerging and existing companies. Mr. Centrella established CTP in May 2000 and has more than 19 years experience in the telecommunications, Internet and data communications industries. Mr. Centrella was previously the CEO and a cofounder of Merlot Communications, Inc., a leader in developing hardware and software solutions that integrate voice, data and video for the small-to-mid-size enterprise (SME) market. Prior to co-founding Merlot, Mr. Centrella held executive positions at several prominent technology companies including Avidia Systems (acquired by PairGain), FORE Systems, Kalpana (acquired by Cisco), 3Com and Texas Instruments. Mr. Centrella also holds a number of Board of Director and Advisory positions at Internet and telecommunications companies. A popular speaker, he has addressed such notable industry forums as NetWorld+Interop, SuperComm, CompTel, IEC and Telecom Business. He is also a frequently quoted expert in news articles in major publications such as Computer Reseller News, CTI News, Communications News and PC Week. Mr. Centrella holds a bachelor's degree in Business from Fordham University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from C.W. Post College. |
