  • Use compelling hashtags – Hashtags are important because they help get your tweets found, so be sure to pick one that is catchy, relevant and short. Look at the hashtags that your competitors are using in order to get some ideas for what types of hashtags to use on your tweets.  
  • Partner up – Look for the influencers in your industry and partner up with them. You can benefit from attracting their Twitter users and vice versa. Be sure to retweet their tweets and have them do the same to get the maximum amount of exposure.  
  • Provide incentives – Get your followers to engage or to contribute by providing incentives such as contests or giveaways.
