Leveraging the firmÕs own expertise, technology projects for the new building included multimedia presentation rooms, server consolidation, building-wide power supply with back-up, enhanced data back-up and recovery, CAT-6 wiring for future gigabit Ethernet speeds, design for Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephony, wireless (Wi-Fi, 802.11g) networking, in-building noise suppression, and a combination of physical and information security initiatives for the campus. The facility also sports a new training room with a seventy-five-person capacity, for use by Optimus, business partners and events for the local technology community.

The new location is 22 Technology Parkway South, Norcross, Georgia 30092. This choice reaffirms the companyÕs commitment to Norcross, a technology hotbed within metropolitan Atlanta, and to Gwinnett County, one of the fastest growing counties in Georgia.
Growth initiatives for this rapidly expanding firm included new lines of business, expanded solution offerings and IT and Internetworking services. The project team leader for the new building refitting and renovation was Steve McDonald, who is also the newly appointed Chief Information Officer.
